DAY 2 cont......

Okay, the end of the day it downpoured and I am too cheap to buy ponchos at Disney. Also I think it's so hot out and the rain is warm that it is pointless. I always say,"Nobody ever died from water except the wicked witch and I'm not wicked and I'm not a witch, so I am safe. However I did make my family pose in front of the pretty Cinderella castle all lit up as we got soaked.

These two pics are when we finally got to the car. We weren't going to let the rain stop us from getting to our car. We didn't let the thunder and lightning stop us either. I remember running through the parking lot thinking our parents would be looking at us disapprovalingly, but at least we weren't the only idiots. There are safety in numbers you know. I also remember as we were running to the car saying, why are we running, we are already soaked! These were what we looked like in the car, drowned rats!

Journey to the Center of the West: DAY 2

DAY 2: Saturday, despite our arrival at our hotel around 11:30pm the night before, we got up and made our way to the Magic Kingdom. Dustin and decided it's a day where you yell at yor kids for a half of an hour and then have fun for two to four minutes depending on the length of the ride. Chloe really loved meeting the Princesses and the Fairies. Gideon didn't love meeting any of the characters. He is night and day from Chloe. He is a shy guy sometimes. Hazel was a trooper.

Journey to the Center of the West: DAY 1

We no longer reside at 1901 Byron St. and we have not yet moved into our new Deer Lodge, MT home. Our moving van is packed and parked in front of a friend's house in VA. We have a week to kill before we attend my little brother's New Jersey wedding reception and then we head to our new home in Montana. Sooo... we decided to cut loose. We chose to head to Kissimmee, FL with the kids for a vacation. Today we spent 13 hours in the car driving to FL. We had to take a picture of the signs for Wagner Rd. We thought someone in our family would find it interesting. Our van was packed to the hilt and our kids were melting down by the end, but as we like to remind ourselves, "We are having fun because we are on vacation."
